Toxic Chemicals Are Found In Consumer Goods

Toxic chemicals are being used to preserve consumer goods, such as non-organic cosmetics and deodorants that you may be using on your skin every day, which could be putting your health at risk. Additives found in most consumer goods could be compromising your health to infectious disease. You can put a stop to this epidemic, by switching to products only being produced organically, by promoting better health. Also paying closer attention to the list of ingredients or labels, you can gain awareness of the types of products you may be using on your skin everyday. Here is a list below of the non-organic materials found in cosmetics or deodorants:

Parabens:

Parabens are in almost every cosmetic product and your deodorant as well. The parabens are a chemical that disrupt the body’s hormonal balance and to act as estrogen. Everyone sweats and its natural for our bodies to perspire by releasing body fluids (ridding possible toxins). It is likely, in some cases, the use of deodorant could be blocking your lymphatic system from ridding toxins. Avoid using antiperspirants that are known for blocking pores. Like parabens, these blocking agents known as additives can mimic estrogen, which promote the development of breast cancer cells.

Warning: Parabens linked to breast cancer.

Aluminum compounds:

Aluminum compounds within deodorants are used to temporarily stop the flow of sweat, at the same time these compounds can be absorbed by your skin. Reducing your sweat glands ability, your body cannot do what it needs to for draining excess fluid among cells and dealing with potential threats to the body, such as bacteria or viruses.

Deodorants to Avoid:

Most popular deodorants on the shelves, such as Axe, Secret, Old Spice, Dove, and Right Guard may contain at least one of these toxic additives. Even if you do not wear any of these particular deodorants you can just avoid these harmful ingredients.

If this does not change your mind about why to buy organic than I hope you can look at the beauty industry in a different way. Beauty products that you buy depend on personal preference, there’s plenty of organic deodorants that do not contain harmful ingredients and get the job done naturally.
