Apple Crisp Smoothie

Apple Crisp Smoothie Just in time for the Holidays! This is a flavorful seasonal apple cinnamon treat. My Apple Crisp Smoothie offers sweet aromas and warming spices that will make your taste buds jump for more! Not only does it taste amazing, but it also promotes healthy stimulation to your brain and body function. Consuming cinnamon promotes the overall healing of symptoms related to inflammation in the body. According to studies in Nutrition Today, “clinical trials investigated the efficacy of cinnamon supplementation” with treating health conditions such as, type 2 diabetes, high blood sugar, obesity, and stabilizes hormonal imbalances in women who experience polycystic ovary syndrome, and the list goes on!

Healthy Tip: Using a slow-speed blender helps to preserve important macronutrients.

Ingredients:
3 apples (de-seeded)
2 bananas
1 scoop of Pea protein
1/4 cup Raw Almond Butter
1 tablespoon Flax Seed (ground)
1 tablespoon Chia Seed (ground)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (ground)
1 teaspoon Nutmeg (ground)
1 teaspoon Turmeric (ground)
1 – 2 cups Hemp Milk (or nut milk of your choice)
Cinnamon Roll Granola topping (Grain-Free)

Instructions:

1. First, wash produce and pat dry.
2. Next, slice and de-seed the apples and toss into a blender.
3. Add the remaining ingredients together in a blender. Turn on the blender (low speed) preferred and blend till smooth.
4. Top with cinnamon roll granola (grain-free) or other toppings!
5. Enjoy!

Other Toppings:

Raw nuts/seeds: Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, Pumpkin Seeds, Hemp Seeds.
Dried Fruit: Cranberries, Dates, Figs, Prunes, Coconut Flakes.
